Concert Banddirected by Matthew Stratton
This ensemble contains a wide cross-section of talented university students and performs high-quality, standard literature. No audition is necessary for wind players. Jazz Band - directed by Dr. Kurt Gorman

Whether playing standards by jazz legends like Charles Mingus and Count Basie or tackling a contemporary chart by Pat Metheny, the UTM Big Band always puts on a good show. Skyhawk Marching Banddirected by Matthew Stratton
This high-energy ensemble performs at home football games, three local parades, and “in exhibition” at select high school competitions. Wind Ensembledirected by Matthew Stratton

Wind Ensemble meets in the fall and spring semesters. Wind Ensemble is an auditioned group that contains the best instrumentalists from across the campus.
