Welcome to the Woodwind Students' Association page! The Woodwind Students' Association is not only for the woodwind majors at UTM; it is for anyone who is passionate about woodwind instruments.

The purpose of the Woodwind Students' Association is to:

  • further the pursuit of music education and standards of performance with regards to woodwind instruments at the University of Tennessee at Martin,
  • support woodwind music and musicians in local, regional and national communities,
  • encourage participation of students in all disciplines of study at the University of Tennessee at Martin who hold interest in woodwind instruments, and
  • foster mutually beneficial relations between music students and the administration.

The WSA hosts an annual Woodwind Day for college and high school students, which brings in professional woodwind guest artists to perform, present lectures, and host masterclasses.
