Dear Percussion Ensemble Directors and Students,

It is my extreme pleasure to announce the inaugural UT Martin Percussion Ensemble YouTube Competition. The goal of this competition is to encourage excellence in high school percussionists through percussion ensemble chamber music. The winners of the competition will be featured on the UTM Percussion Ensemble concert on Sunday April 15, 2018 with both their winning piece and a side-by-side performance with the UTM Percussion Ensemble. In addition, the winning ensemble will receive a video and audio recording of their live performance. I encourage both directors and student groups to apply. Please see below for details of the competition. I look forward hearing great music performed by you!

Sincerely,
