Earned master's degree in Athletic Training or related field with documented progress toward a doctorate. Completed doctorate preferred; doctorate required for tenure. NATABOC certification and eligibility for Tennessee licensure in athletic training. Minimum of three years professional experience working as a NATABOC athletic trainer. Experience in the instruction and supervision of athletic training students (in a CAAHEP accredited program preferred). Ability to teach didactic and/or laboratory subject material in athletic training, as well as other areas in health or human performance (First Aid/CPR desirable). Record of scholarship and a history of professional and community involvement/service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
