Health Sciences Pre-Professional Program

General Information

The University of Tennessee at Martin does not offer professional degrees in most health sciences. It does, however, provide training which will prepare students for admission to the following professional programs:

•  Chiropractic

• Cytotechnology

•  Dental Hygiene

• Dentistry

• Health Information Management

• Medical Technology

• Medicine(allopathic and osteopathic)

• Occupational Therapy

• Optometry

• Pharmacy

• Physical Therapy

*Students in these programs usually declare a Biology, Chemistry or Health and Human Performance major, but they are not limited to these majors. In Biology, they have a choice of concentrations.
