P.S.E.P.P – Warning Signs

 

Life on a college campus means you may encounter someone you suspect is being abused in some way. Below are some signs you may observe. If you ever become concerned for a student, friend, or family member, PSEPP can help you help them.

  • Withdrawn, isolated or overly worried.
  • Depression, crying for no apparent reason etc.
  • Change in eating habits and mood swings.
  • Suddenly missing classes and not submitting assignments.
  • Acquiring a substance abuse problem.
  • Unexplained cuts and bruises.
  • An apparent fear of certain situations or people.
  • Isolation
  • Self-hatred and suicidal thoughts.
  • Sudden refusal to spend time with someone they used to be comfortable with.
