The Reading Center staff are specially trained Graduate Teaching Assistants who teach Reading 100 and provide tutoring. Our goal is to help students read faster, increase vocabulary, and understand and remember more of what they read. These GTAs work under the direction and support of the Reading Center Director to develop and deliver classroom instruction in reading strategies and to provide tutoring to meet individual needs.

Dr. Beverly J. Hearn is the Director of the Reading Center.
