The following guidelines must be followed for a proposal to be considered:

Type: No less than 10 or more than 12 pitch (be consistent throughout the proposal), Courier (example) or Times New Roman (example)
Spacing: Single spacing in body of sections; double-spaced to divide sections
Justification: Left justified; indented paragraphs
Page limit: 3 pages maximum, front only

Proposal Content - use section headings when writing proposal (REQUIRED)

Abstract (limit to 250 words maximum and must be a centered and underlined heading)

Location(s) of Proposed International Travel Activity(ies) (section heading)

Date(s) of Proposed International Travel Activity (ies) (section heading) Be specific. Give timeline.

Purpose and Scope of Proposed Activity (centered and underlined section heading)  Be specific. Include how you intend to incorporate the material into the classes you teach. Focus on classroom performance. (i.e., measurable goals and objectives).

Budget and Budget Narrative (centered and underlined section heading) Indicate all planned expenses and sources of all funds. The budget should reflect that the activity is important to your department/college and to you. If no matching is possible, please explain.
