"Working on grants has allowed our office to provide professional development to law enforcement officers throughout West Tennessee. Through several programs, we have received feedback from the agencies expressing their appreciation for the availability of professional development offered in West Tennessee (rather than losing staff time and money to travel to Middle Tennessee), and it has also enabled them to network with members of other agencies in sharing tactics unique to rural law enforcement."?? Debbie Mount, Director, Extended Campus and Online Studies

UT Martin pays a membership to access the services of the Grants Resource Center. The GRC is a service provided for member institutions of the American Association of State Universities and Colleges. In addition to grant-related news and publications, the GRC also provides a search tool. The GRC can take key words or research priorities and search databases of possible funding agencies that align with a proposal idea. For more information regarding how to conduct a search of funding agencies and priorities through the GRC, contact the Office of Research, Grants, and Contracts at 881.7015.
