DOE Title III Strengthening Institutions Initiative

The University of Tennessee at Martin (UT Martin) was awarded a Title III grant by the US Department of Education in summer 2014. Through this funding UT Martin has committed to two goals: (1) enhancing postsecondary success and (2) improving productivity. These two goals are interrelated and focused on strengthening the institution. These funds come at a critical junction when UT Martin is striving to meet SACS recommendations and improve retention and graduation rates. The DOE Title III Strengthening Institutions Initiative will support and enhance efforts to address SACS accreditation recommendations and strengthen UT Martin.
