Student Ambassadors

To become a Student Ambassador, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be willing to commit time for meetings and events.

Application may be picked in the library or front office.

Michelle Henderson, Integrated Studies K-6 Major

My name is Michelle Henderson and I am a junior at UTM Ripley Campus. My major is integrated studies K-6, and I currently hold a GPA of 3.5. I plan on teaching in the Lauderdale County School System and eventually obtain my Master’s degree. I am a very active and outgoing person who loves children! The UTM Ripley Campus has offered me a new opportunity to reach my career goals. I absolutely love the hometown atmosphere and friendly environment that comes along with this campus.

 

Lorie G. Yancey, Psychology Major

My name is Lorie G. Yancey. I am a mother of two (2). I am a sophomore at the University of Tennessee at Martin. I graduated from Lynwood High School in Lynwood, California in the year of 1991. After moving to Tennessee, I attended Dyersburg State Community College for two (2) years. In the year of 2011 I transferred to Martin to obtain my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, focusing on Family and Marriage Therapy. My long term goal is to obtain my Master’s Degree and practice Therapy in a private practice.
