Windows Operating System Antivirus

If you are faculty or staff, you may download the Forefront Antivirus software free of charge for home or office use.

Before installing Forefront software, make sure that you have uninstalled any antivirus software that may be running on your computer. Otherwise, problems could arise. Additionally, we recommend backing up any important documents you may need before installing any software.

To download the current version of Forefront, please go the the UT Martin Computer Store Software Download site.

If your Forefront software is not automatically getting definition updates and the Helpdesk has instructed you to manually install the definitions, you may download the current definition update.

Macintosh OS Antivirus

If you are running Mac OSX, we recommend downloading ClamAV. ClamAV is not a real time virus scanner. Virus scans will need to be initiated by the user or set up on a schedule within the program.
