What is counseling?

Counseling is a confidential, nonjudgmental process with an objective professional.  Counseling provides the opportunity to discuss problems that you might be having and to find solutions to those problems.  During this process, many students tap into their personal strengths and resources, while gaining a greater sense of control in their lives.  Counseling is a way to learn new skills and to learn new ways of looking at your particular situation.
