Strong Interest Inventory

In your quest to figure out what you want to do with you life, you need to identify your interests and skills…and discover how they fit in with different careers. The Strong Interest Inventory is one of the most valuable career inventories available. The Strong Interest inventory’s in-depth report helps you:

    • Identify general occupational themes and subcategories that describe your interests.
    • Compare your interests to those of workers in specific occupations to discover how similar or dissimilar your interests are to theirs.
    • Use your results to explore the careers that would be most similar to your interests.
    • Understand the personality traits that are most associated with your interest categories.
    • Identify the top ten careers that relate to your interests.
    • Know how you should ideally divide your work day between working with people and working with things and ideas.
    • Identify your ideal learning preferences.
    • Understand your leadership preferences.
    • Compare your risk taking preferences with those of other people.

There is a small fee of $20 which covers the scoring of the inventory*.  This is not a test so there are no right or wrong answers!

*($22 when Strong Inventory is combined with the handscored MBTI)

If you would like to schedule an appointment to take the Strong Interest Inventory, please call our office at 731.881.744 or come by 210 Clement Hall.  After the inventory returns, an individual interpretive session will be scheduled.
