One of the most significant decisions you will make in your life is your career. At UT Martin, it starts with deciding on a major. If you are not sure what path to follow, personal career assistance is available to you.
Career exploration involves matching your skills and interests to potential occupations. The Student Success Center’s Career Exploration Office is here to help guide you along the journey. In addition to personal career counseling, we have several tools to aid in your search… DISCOVER, SIGI 3, the Strong Interest Inventory, and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
In addition to individual counseling, you may sign up for GENS 201 CAREER EXPLORATION, a class designed to give you in-depth assistance in deciding on a major and a career.
