Why should I sign up?

Because research shows that students who are involved in programs, such as UTM's First-Year Initiative, are more likely to be successful in four year programs than students who do not participate. The activities and programs covered as part of Freshman Welcome Weekend and later in General Studies 101 serve as a building foundation for a successful educational experience at UTM - Not to mention First-Year Initiative is fun!
