The Graduate Record Examination, also known as the GRE, (required for graduate program admission) is a 4 hour exam offered several times each month.
REGISTRATION: To register for the GRE, visit www.ets.org/gre.
COST: $175 payable to ETS by credit card or check.
RETESTING: You may retest once per calendar month up to 5 times in a 12-month period.
RESCHEDULING: You must reschedule 3 full days before original appointment date. There is a $50 rescheduling fee. Call the GRE Program at 1-800-473-2255.
CANCELLING: You must cancel 3 full days before original appointment date to receive a partial refund of your test fee (one-half of original test fee). Call the GRE Program at 1-800-473-2255.
