| PPST - Praxis I

The Praxis I (or PPST) is required for certain students desiring admission to the Education program at UT Martin. The test is made up of 3 sections:
COST - $130 payable to ETS by check or credit card. RETESTING - You may retest once per calendar month up to 6 times in a 12 month period. Retest fees - 1 section=$80, 2 sections=$120, 3 sections=$160 RESCHEDULING –You must reschedule 3 full days before original appointment date. Reschedule fee is $15. CANCELLING – You must cancel 3 full days before original appointment date. You may request a refund of $20 per test section or $60 for the combined test. TO REGISTER – Please call 731.881.7727 or go by the Testing Office at 211 Clement Hall.
PRAXIS SCORING
Score is based on the number of questions answered correctly. There is no penalty for wrong answers.
You will receive unofficial Reading and Mathematics scores at the completion of your test. Official scores, including Writing scores, will be sent to you and your selected score recipients within 10-15 days.
