UT Martin Jackson Center Completes Move to TTCJ
Martin, Tennessee - UT Martin has completed moving the university's Jackson-based offices and courses to the Tennessee Technology Center at Jackson. Summer term classes began June 30, with final work at the new UT Martin Jackson Center finished before the July 4 holiday.
The move follows an agreement announced last January in which all Jackson-based UT Martin courses and offices will be at the TTCJ campus. The campus is at 2468 Technology Center Drive next to McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport.
Offerings at the new center include master's degrees in education, business administration and accountancy. The center also offers a registered nurse to bachelor of science in nursing program and additional courses based on student needs.
Information about the university's dual-credit program also is available through the center. The dual-credit program allows high school students to take selected courses for high school and college credit.
An open house is scheduled 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 8, at the center. The public is invited. The UT Martin Jackson Center telephone number is 731-425-9277 or 1-800-491-6445.
