Committee appointed to identify candidates for UT Martin chancellor
MARTIN, Tenn. - A 14-member committee has been appointed by University of Tennessee President Dr. John Petersen to identify candidates to succeed Dr. Nick Dunagan, University of Tennessee at Martin chancellor.
In September, Dunagan announced his plans to retire in June 2007 with 34 years of service at UT Martin.
Dr. Jerald Ogg, UT Martin interim vice chancellor for student affairs, will chair the search advisory committee. Faculty members on the committee are: Dr. Ann Duncan, Dr. Nell Gullett and Dr. John Schommer. Others include: students, James Orr and Caroline Tippens; staff, Youlanda Jones and Lt. Steve Sherfield; administrators, Shannon Burgin and Dr. Jim Byford; community/alumni, Dr. Michael Bobo and Joe Brasher; and UT Board of Trustees members, Barbara Castleman and Jerry Jackson.
