The University of Tennessee at Martin is now a more affordable college option for out-of-state residents. Beginning in 2012, UT Martin will waive out-of-state tuition for any applicant with an ACT score of 25 or above and a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
The tuition break is valued at about $12,400 per year, and applicants will also be eligible for university scholarships such as the Deans, Chancellors and University Scholars.
Prospective students can apply online and find scholarship information at www.utm.edu. The deadline to apply for scholarships is Feb. 1, 2012.
