Student earns Trans-Miss Golf Association Turf Scholarship

MARTIN – Colton Jones, a senior from Savannah, Tenn., earned a $4,500 scholarship from the Trans-Miss Golf Association.
The Trans-Miss Turf Scholarship Fund awarded 14 scholarships totaling more than $54,000.
The Trans-Miss recognizes students excelling in their pursuit of a career in turf management.
“What is there not to say about Colton Jones,” said Dr. Wes Totten, an associate professor and Jones’ advisor at UT Martin.
“Colton is an outstanding young man who has an outstanding academic record respected by everyone in our department. He is a gentleman and a credit to his parents' rearing.”
