NATIONAL CHEMISTRY WEEK - Mayors Houston Patrick of Weakley County and Randy Brundige of the city of Martin signed proclamations for National Chemistry Week of October 20 -27. K. Airee; SMACS officer Heather Streckert; and SMACS president Gilbert Forgays. During National Chemistry Week, UT Martin’s SMACS will host the KLS meeting Oct. 25 on campus. Students from Murray State University, Union University, Bethel University and other area institutions will present chemistry demonstrations. The public is invited to attend the meeting at 7 p.m. in the Boling University Center. SMACS will also participate in outreach programs for area grade schools and girl scouts during the week. |
