MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin Friends of the Paul Meek Library will present the third annual Meek Literary Legacy Series presentation at 7 p.m., Feb. 7, in the Andy Holt Humanities Building auditorium on the UT Martin campus. The series honors Dr. Paul Meek, for whom the Paul Meek Library is named.
The evening will feature Dr. Robert G. Cowser, professor emeritus of the Department of English and Modern Foreign Languages. Cowser will read from his poetry chapbook, “Backtrailing,” in addition to reading other poetry.
The Legacy Series is supported by endowment funds and gifts provided by the family and friends of Dr. Paul Meek and the efforts of university alumni, including Jerry Crockett, distinguished alumnus of the University of Tennessee Junior College.
The public is invited to attend.
