Kreger's ‘Light Matters: Imagery of Kryza’ to be on display at UT Martin Jackson Center

MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin Jackson Center will host the art of Philip Kreger Sept. 19-Oct. 4. An opening reception is set for 4-6 p.m., Sept. 19, at the center. Kreger’s work titled, “Light Matters: Imagery of Kryza” will be on display.

Kreger, born in Detroit, attended Austin Catholic Preparatory School for Boys, including seminary studies under the Augustinian Order at Olympia Fields, Ill. He began his career working in the design field at the Center of Science and Industry in Columbus, Ohio, and accepted the position as chief of exhibitions at the Tennessee State Museum in 1984.
