Configuring Other Mail Clients for IMAP
If you did not find instructions for you specific mail client, you may use the following information to configure many mail clients for IMAP use. If you encounter difficulties, we suggest contacting your mail client's customer support department for further instructions.
After you have verified the IMAP is enabled on your account, you can use the following settings in your mail client. Please note that if your client does not support SMTP Authentication, you will not be able to send mail through your client using your UT Martin Google Apps address. Also, if you are having trouble sending mail and you have confirmed that encryption is active for SMTP in your mail client, try to configure your SMTP server on a different port: 465 or 587.
