In addition , any family and consumer sciences student is eligible for membership in Phi Upsilon Omicron (fcs honor society) upon completion of 40 hours of coursework and a GPA of 3.0.

Students studying interior design have access to a design lab with drafting equipment.
A resource room with fabric, wall covering, and floor covering materials is available.
Classrooms have the latest audio visual equipment (computers, projectors, image capturing equipment, DVD players) to facilitate effective teaching and learning.
