IFC Code of Ethics We, the members of the men's fraternities at the University of Tennessee
at Martin, agree to promote the highest ethical characteristics as embodied
by each organization's founding principles. We agree to maintain these
common principles that bind all men's fraternal organizations in a spirit
of brotherhood. Through conscious efforts, we will demonstrate cooperation,
mentorship, courtesy, kindness, loyalty, and high respect to each other's
property and person. We will uphold a high sense of decency and honesty.
We recognize that humility, dignity, and trust are needed in order to
stand united as Greek men. We shall adhere to all guidelines established
by the North-American Interfraternity Conference and abide by the code
of conduct established by the University of Tennessee at Martin. We
shall support the promotion of men to become fraternally associated,
and protect the rights of individual fraternities and their potential
members. As members of the University of Tennessee at Martin Interfraternal
Council, we shall abide by these ideals, which guide our actions, to
all communities. |
