Kiwanis Board Meeting Minutes

The officers and board members of this club met  last Thursday at the Weldon Library.  Letters of resignation were accepted from 3 members, Robert Lee, Linda Kraft, and Michele Siler.  We wish each of these individual the best of luck and thank them for their service to our club.  Membership approval was granted to Sara Reid of the Weakley County Press and Aaron Cooper of First State Bank.   The board voted to be a member of the Martin Business Organization and be a member of Frontier Community Connections.  The board agreed to put an ad in this year’s UT Martin Rodeo Program book in celebration of the Martin Kiwanis Club’s first ever service project, the first UT Martin Rodeo in 1968.  The board also agreed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our club with a night meeting on Thursday, May 22nd. Place and time TBD.
