Leadership Weakley County

The Leadership Weakley County Board of Directors are now taking applications for the 2009 Leadership Weakley County Class. Tuition for the program is $250.00, which covers the cost of administration, meals, and printed materials associated with the sessions and events. Classes meet on Thursdays
from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. The Martin Kiwanis Club traditionally pays for one club member to take part in the class each year.  It is usually the Vice President or President Elect unless someone else has an interest.  Applications available at

Kiwanis Stocking Drive for We Care

547 Stockings will be delivered to We Care on Dec. 4th.  Appropriate items for the Christmas Stockings: Candy, Toys, Books, Colors, Craft items, Toiletries, Gloves and Hats.  These items must fit into stockings that are approximately 18” tall and 7” wide. We provide the stockings!!!

 Please make a special note that our older Boys & Girls Ages 8-10 & Ages 11-12 are often overlooked. Therefore, we encourage some of you to please sponsor these older groups as we need 200 total stockings for both the girls and boys in these age groups.
