Congratulations Builders Club-Our Kiwanis Builders Club at Martin Middle School
was named a Distinguished Club by Kiwanis International for the 08-09
school year. We awarded them a patch for their banner yesterday. They earned this by completing all the
requirements set forth by international for service to their school and
community.
New Club Site- We are attempting to start a new Kiwanis Club in Greenfield. This will be a summer project with the
hopes of putting a Key Club at Greenfield High School this fall. Do you know someone who would make a good
Greenfield Kiwanian? Let Misty know.
Farewell- To members Keith
Thompson and Teri Towe. Keith will be leaving Martin to a new
medical clinic in Mayfield, KY. Teri, a former club president travels with her job so much that she
felt she could no longer keep membership with Kiwanis. We wish these 2 the best.
