HELP
US GROW!! -At the beginning of
Sue’s term as president she sat a goal to achieve a net 10% growth in members
for our club. Even with our recent
membership drive, we are still minus several from where we started. Help us
help Sue reach her goal and bring in new members. We will need approximately 7 new members
between now and Oct. 1st to meet this goal. Another incentive is that if we reach the
goal, we will meet the criteria to be named a DISTINGUISHED KIWANIS CLUB. Write down some names of people
you would like to ask to join. Then
ASK! J

THIS AND THAT
Congratulation to Robert Mancusi!- He announced last week he is going to be a
father once again.
Congratulation to our Lesa Finch. She is now the owner of Bright Beginnings
Day Care in Martin. (formerly The Peppermint Stick)
Dues have decreased! What?? No really. The club voted last week to decrease your monthly dues. Your new monthly rate for Kiwanis dues are
now $41 per month.
We had 3 prospective members at last weeks meeting. Robin Last, Phillip Johnson, and Danielle
Fabianich.
The McKenzie Kiwanis Club is starting a “satellite” Kiwanis Club in
Huntingdon. Do you know someone in
Huntingdon who would make a great Kiwanian? Email their name and info to myrna.johnson@edwardjones.com A satellite club is a small
group of individuals who become members of a host club until they have enough
members (25) to obtain their own charter.
The Jackson Kiwanis Club has a Pancake breakfast Saturday September 19th and they have invited us to attend. In
return, they will send an interclub to one of our meetings this fall. If you want to attend, see Misty.
