THIS AND THAT
The first Builders Club meeting was held yesterday at MMS. 17 students signed up to join. Their first project will be a public
service campaign to encourage students to always wear their seat belts.
Dues have decreased! The club voted 2
weeks ago to decrease your monthly dues. Your new monthly rate for Kiwanis dues are now $41 per month.
The McKenzie Kiwanis Club is starting a “satellite” Kiwanis Club in
Huntingdon. Do you know someone in
Huntingdon who would make a great Kiwanian? Email their name and info to myrna.johnson@edwardjones.com A satellite club is a small
group of individuals who become members of a host club until they have enough
members (25) to obtain their own charter.
The Jackson Kiwanis Club has a Pancake breakfast Saturday September 19th and they have invited us to attend. In
return, they will send an interclub to one of our meetings this fall. If you want to attend, see Misty.
The Martin Kiwanis Club is now on Facebook. Look for us on the most popular social
networking site online.
