Buzz the Boss Last Week

A great event happened last week.  President Elaine had her “haircut” by members Keith Pettit, assisted by Pete Bukeavich and Charley Deal.  Even Ed Knight attended to see the big event.  Elaine is to be congratulated for being a good sport about the event.   Our membership sold the most tickets ever for a Pancake Breakfast.    Thank you Elaine for participating in the fun!!

Convention

The International Convention is in Honolulu, Hawaii July 2 – 6.  The District Convention is in Lafayette, Louisiana  August 4 – 7.

Annual Governor Visit to District

Governor Richard Wood’s visit to Tennessee is scheduled for May 6 – 8 at Pickwick State Park.  This is our annual get together for Divisions 1A-1B-1C.  There will be an informal get together on Friday evening, various events and tournaments on Saturday, a Saturday evening banquet, and a prayer breakfast on Sunday.  Members may attend any and all events.  Registration is $35 for the entire weekend or $30 for Saturday only.  Spouses/guests are welcome.  Special rates are available at the lodge for the weekend.  If you plan to attend the Saturday evening banquet, let your officers know if you are interested in attending and we may carpool down to Pickwick.
