Governor Richard Wood’s visit to Tennessee is scheduled for THIS WEEKEND at Pickwick State Park, near Savannah, Tn.  This is our annual meeting for Divisions 1A-1B-1C.  There will be an informal get together on Friday evening, various events and tournaments on Saturday, a Saturday evening banquet, and a prayer breakfast on Sunday.  Members may attend any and all events.  Registration is $35 for the entire weekend or $30 for Saturday only.  Spouses/guests are welcome.  If you plan to attend the Saturday evening banquet, let your officers know if you are interested in attending and we may carpool down to Pickwick.   I know Evelyn is going on Friday and Linda Ramsey is going Saturday afternoon.

The Pickwick Landing State Park Inn has some rooms left for either Friday and/or Saturday nights.  They will still honor the Kiwanis rate, though time is running out, so book your room ASAP if you have not already done so.  Their phone number is (800) 250-8615.

First of the Month

It’s that time again:  First of a new month.    Your club dues for May are DUE and payable.

Summer Kiwanis Schedule

Remember!  Just because Summer is near, your Kiwanis club continues to meet each week as usual.  Your dues continue also through the summer months, unless you request a Leave of Absence.   Please try to attend the weekly meetings during your summer activities.  While on vacation, try visiting a Kiwanis club near your vacation location.
