BBQ Fundraiser

Our annual Delivered BBQ Lunch Fundraiser has been set for Friday, Sept. 23.  Please mark this on your calendars and try to help deliver lunches.   Tickets will be available soon.

Aktion Club

Nadine Gearin reported last week that our Aktion Club celebrated their 10th anniversary as a club.   HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!

Volunteering to Help this Fall

It’s almost time for school to begin.  Our sponsored clubs at the various schools will begin meeting.  Members are needed to help the few who work with each club.  Our club sponsors the K Kids at the Elementary School, Builder’s Club at the Middle School, Key Club at the High School, and Circle K at UT Martin.  We  sponsor the Aktion Club and Cub Scout Pack 37, that also needs volunteers.  Please try to help out the members who guide and direct each of these sponsored clubs.

Medical Updates

Margaret continues to do well from her surgery.  The plans are for her to stay in the Baptist Memphis Hospital for the next 2 weeks.  She will move to room 4214 probably on Monday for therapy.  The plans are for her to come to Cane Creek after that.   Baptist Hospital Memphis   (901-226-4214)--6019 Walnut Grove, 38120.
