BBQ Fundraiser

Our annual Delivered BBQ Lunch Fundraiser has been set for Friday, Sept. 23.  Please mark this on your calendars and try to help deliver lunches.   Tickets will be available soon.

Soybean 5K Roadrace

The annual 5K Soybean Roadrace will be held on Saturday, September 10, beginning at 8 am.  The race will be held at the Martin Recreational Complex.  We will begin our race this year on the back side of the park.  Other activities have been scheduled at the park in our original location.  Mark your calendars for Sept. 10 to come and help direct the racers.  Bill Austin and Jim Scott are our race organizers.

Kiwanis Offers Membership Incentives

It’s as Easy as 1-2-3! You hold the key!

Beginning July 1, 2005 and running through June 1, 2006, Kiwanians have the opportunity to qualify for prizes simply by making membership a priority.   Any Kiwanian who welcomes a new member into a club during the program dates is eligible for prizes in the random drawing.   Members who recruit one new member will receive a bronze key lapel pin and one entry in the random drawing. Recruit two new members and receive a silver key lapel pin and an additional entry in the random drawing for a total of two entries.  Recruit three new members and receive a gold key lapel pin and a total of three entries in the contest.
