Thought for the Week

Happiness is not in our circumstances, but in ourselves.

BBQ Day

The BBQ Fundraiser last Friday was a huge success.  We delivered 950 lunches.  Thank You to everyone who was able to help on Thursday evening and Friday morning make this fundraiser a huge success.  Please turn in any remaining ticket money soon, so we may close the books on this fundraiser.

Christmas Parade is Coming

It’s only about 9 weeks until the Martin Christmas Parade rolls down University Street again.  Misty Menees is our parade chairperson this year.

Misty will be looking for volunteers to help with preparations as the time approaches.

Sponsored Clubs

Remember our club sponsors several “Youth” clubs in our area.  The few members that work as sponsors need your assistance with the various club meetings and projects.  If you can volunteer time for to help, please see the members below:

K Kids – Mary Elizabeth Bell           Circle K – Frank Black

Builder’s Club – Teri Towe                Aktion Club – Nadine Gearin

Key Club – Fran Robinson                 Cub Scouts – Steve Lemond

Service Hours

Our club gets credit for members helping in various club projects by recording the hours of service by it’s members.  If you help at a sponsored club or other club service project, please mark these hours by your name on the signin sheet.   This is totaled and reported on the monthly report our clubs sends to the Lt. Governor and District Office.
