Mid-Winter Conference A Mid-Winter Conference is the annual mid-year training conference that the District uses to re-motivate and refocus Kiwanians following the lengthy holiday season. The Mid-Winter Conference will be held this year in Countdown to Kindergarten WLJT-TV and the Weldon Public Library are sponsoring the Countdown to Kindergarten on Saturday morning, Feb. 11. They are asking for volunteers to help staff the event this year with registration, reading to kids, etc. If you can help contact Roberta Peacock or Sue Lasky, or see the signup sheet passed around at the meetings.
