Thought for the Day

Anybody can do just about anything with himself that he really wants to and makes up his mind to do.  We are capable of greater things than we realize.

Fishing Derby Saturday

The annual Fishing Derby was held last Saturday at the Martin Recreational Complex.  74 youth registered to participate.   157 fish were caught.  The longest fish was 12 ¾ inches and the heaviest fish was 1 pound 1 oz.  Thank you to Frances Bynum for coordinating this event and Thanks to those Kiwanians who showed up to help with the event.

Polo Shirt Order

Several people have asked about making an order for Kiwanis shirts with the club name embroidered on them.  Kiwanis International has a club name polo shirt available in both men’s and women’s styles, and available in four colors:  Navy, Royal Blue, White, and Yellow.  We must have at least 12 shirts to be able to have the club name on them.  We will pass a signup sheet around during the month of June.  We will place our order after the June 28 meeting.
