Kiwanis Quotes on Losing the Best Civic Club Contest

Before becoming a member of Kiwanis, I did not know the official motto. I did know who provided the schools with playgrounds and many other gifts of time & service. When I look around the room each Wednesday, I see people that I have admired since my move here in 1985 – people that always go above and beyond for our children and our community. Kiwanis and the spirit of the membership are beyond any vote.
Kathy Eskew

Next year's campaign, (when Frank is president), will include accusations of corruption among the Rotarians, yard signs, and some down right mud slinging ads.  Let's get aggressive next year and beat those Rotarians
David Spencer

It is true that we Kiwanians earn our votes, the Optimists hope for the vote and the Rotarians just use more money to buy the vote!!!!  Just Kidding (mostly)!
Brandy Cartmell

W
hether we won is not important.  The fact that we ARE what we are, the best, is all that matters!
Elaine Knight

Maybe we should challenge them to a rope pull. Bet we could win.  Maybe just a cook off and we could get Jason (Menees) and Clint (Riley) to help. We'll work on this before next year!!
Cathy Barnett

I've enjoyed Kiwanis for the past few years, and feel honored to be part of this group in this community.
Mary Ann Baxter
