Getting to know: Sue Lasky AKA “Susie-Qusie”
Children - 3 grown children.  Kimberly Page, our oldest child, lives in the same subdivision as we do here in Martin.  Our middle child is Christopher Knouff.  He lives in Dresden and is unmarried at this time.  We are always on the look out for a good future-daughter-in-law.  Robyn Naughton is our youngest child. She is married and lives in Oak Ridge, TN. 
Workplace - WLJT-TV/DT - Public Television for West Tennessee. 
Favorite Movie-   Tootsie. 
Sue’s first Job?   Selling boys' clothing at J.C. Penney. 
College-   Muskegon (MI) Community College, Jackson (MI) Community College, Michigan State University, U. T. Martin  (I graduated from all 4)
Know any Foreign languages?   Yankee. 
Why did you join Kiwanis? Who asked you?   Because of the children's issues.  I was invited in by Evelyn Blythe in 2005
Favorite Kiwanis activity?  I love our pancake breakfasts. Where else can you bring your friends and family, run into friends you've not seen in years, and get an excellent meal for a bargain price...all for a great cause.
If you could ask one local person to join our club who would it be?   The principal of the primary or elementary school.

Pancake Tickets
Sell!! Sell!! Sell!  Kiwanis Pancake Day is held each year in conjunction with Martin Youth League baseball and softball registration for ages 5-12.  Plus there are many youth league basketball games going on in the gym.  Our breakfast is held at the Martin Elementary School Cafeteria amidst all the fun!   Carry-outs are available.

Relay for Life- K Family Team-Twister
The Kiwanis Family will participate again this year in Relay for Life.  Everyone who is interested in being on our team needs to sign up online at: http://www.acsevents.org/relay/tn/weakleywest/kfamily     The theme this year is board games the club voted for the game Twister to be our campsite theme.  Our goal this year is 4-thousand dollars.  Evelyn Blythe is our team captain.
