KIWANIS ONE DAY

 On April 7, 2007 every Kiwanis, Key, Circle K, Builders, K Kids, and Action Club will be doing some form of service. It will be a joint project and we will work with our Service Leadership Clubs to get it accomplished.  It has been suggested that we pick the five spots in Martin that need cleaning up the most and divide into five crews and spiff up our city a bit.    What are Martin’s five trashiest places?
 1. Behind State Farm office in Lindell- parking lot of Cheers

February Board Meeting

The Kiwanis Board of Directors and Officers met on Thursday February 8^th.  Bob Bradley was accepted for a leave of absence through May.  It was agreed to donate all 50-50 profits to our Relay for Life team. The officer selection Committee for the upcoming year will be David Spencer, Bonnie Hernon, Steve Lemond, and Michele Siler.   At the end of March this committee will announce the slate of candidates for a two year term on the board as well as a new Vice-President.   The next board meeting is tomorrow at noon Weldon Library.
