April Board Meeting
The Kiwanis officers and Board of Directors met last Thursday at the Weldon library for their monthly meting.  The board voted to move forward with recommending to the club electing an assistant treasurer and an assistant secretary.  This will be voted on by the club and will require our club charter to change.   May 9th will be Election Day for our club.  We will vote on officers for the upcoming Kiwanis year.   Make plans to attend that day.    The board also voted to approve support of the Weakley County Reading Railroad.   Kiwanis will sponsor one child for all five years for a one-time cost of $150.   Our member ship now stands at 56.

Goin’ to the Rodeo?
If you go this weekend, buy a program book and look for the full-page Martin Kiwanis ad.

To all new members, to receive full membership remember the three things you must complete: 1. Greet at the door. 2. Attend a service project. 3. Attend one board meeting.  After you have completed these three things please see Misty.
