Chamber music is a central compenent of music studies in the Stratton studio. The opportunity to grow through sharing music in a small setting as part of a team is invaluable to the music student.

Our chamber music program is designed to foster expression and communication as a performer. The repertoire is selected with the purpose of aquainting students to every style of music.

The tuba and euphonium studio offers two quartets. Members of the UTM Undersound are given priority selection for a quartet.

Quartet I plays advanced literature and receives weekly coaching.

Quartet II is selected with the purpose of mastering the fundamentals of playing in a tuba and euphonium quartet.
