Ryan Bateman—Sophomore, Music Education

Ryan is the sole freshman member of the UTM Bones this year. He hails from Trenton, Tennessee where he attended Peabody High School. He is majoring in Music Education and performs in the Skyhawk Marching, Wind Ensemble, Trombone Choir, and University Singers.

Ryan is a fan of Drum Corp International (DCI), and plans on marching in the SUmmer of 2013.

Josh Beckwith—Junior, Bachelor of Arts

Josh Beckwith (Also known as "JB") is a junior pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree with and emphasis in Music. Josh comes to UTM from Brighton, Tennesseee where he attended Brighton High School.

In his career at UTM, Josh has performed with the Skyhawk Marching Band, Basketball Pep Band, Concert Band, Trombone Choir, and the University SIngers.

Josh is an avid movie fan, owning more films than most small movie studios.

Amanda Evans—Junior, Interior Design

Amanda is a senior majoring in Interior design. She is only Music Minor in the UTM Bones, but she holds her own.

Amanda has performed with numerous UTM ensembles including the Skyhawk Marching Band, Basketball Pep Band, Concert Band, Trombone Choir, and she is in her second year as a member of the UTM Trombone Quartet.

Kevin Freyler—Junior, Bass Trombone Performance

Kevin hails from Columbia, Tennessee, where he graduated from Columbia High School. Mr. Freyler holds the distinction of being the only Bass Trombone major is the UTM Bones in addition to being the solo Music Performance Major.

Kevin has performed with several groups at UTM including the Skyhawk Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Trombone Quartet, and Trombone Choir.

Christian Miller—Junior, Music Education

Christian (Crissy) Miller comes to UTM from Jackson, Tennessee, where she graduated from Northside High School. A Music education major, Crissy's goal is is to teach music in the future at the high school or possibly collegiate level.

Crissy has performed with numerous univeristy ensembles in her time here including the Skyhawk Marching Band, Basketball Pep Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band Trombone Quartet, and Trombone Choir

Crissy is a fan of Drum Corp International (DCI), and performed with the Muic City Drum & Bugle Corps in 2013.

Alex Pegram—Freshman, Music Education

Alex is the newest member of the UTM Bones. He comes to UTM from Union City, Tennessee, where he graduated from Union City High School. Alex is majoring in Music Education.

Rachel Pittman—Senior, Music Education

Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Rachel Pittman came to UT Martin by way of McNairy Central High School in Selmer, Tennessee. Rachel is junior majoring in Music Education with the aim to teaching students of all ages about the joys of music.

During her time at UT Martin, Rachel has performed with many ensembles including the Skyhawk Marching Band, Basketball Pep Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Trombone Choir, Trombone Quartet, and University SIngers.

Rachel is an avid fan of Drum Corp International (DCI), and has participated in the activity for the past three seasons with the Music City Drum & Bugle Corps.
