Trombone Night, Fall 2013

   

Please join UTM Bones for our 2013 Fall Trombone Night performance on Thursday, November 21st! The concert is FREE and will take place in the Blankenship Recital Hall, housed in the Fine Arts Building on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Martin. The event will feature the trombone ensembles of the UTM Trombone Studio and will include a special mass trombone choir to close the concert!

The program for the conert includes works by Fox, Bach, Ewazen, Crespo, Wilborn, Davis, Morricone, Ticheli, Saint-Saens, and Shostakovich. All trombonists are welcomed and encouraged to participate in the mass trombone choir that will close the concert. The Mass Choir will be performing two pieces on the concert: the Adagio from Symphony No. 3 by Camille Saint-Saens, and The Fire of Eternal Glory by Dimitri Shostakovich.

 

*There will be a short rehearsal in the Blankenship Recital Hall beginning at 6:30 pm the day of the concert.
