ROBERT NANNEY (B.S., University of Tennessee, Martin; M.J., Louisiana State University; Ph.D., Ohio University) is the Chairperson of the Communications Department. He teaches print journalism, desktop publishing, senior seminar and oversees the departmental internship program. He has 15 year’s experience in journalism as a reporter, photographer, and managing editor. His research specialty is community journalism, and he is president of the local chapter of The Andy Griffith Show Rerun Watchers Club. He is a native of Dresden, Tenn.
