    I think the voices got louder because Paul`s parents were coming in to more money. It seems as though the more money you have the greater your problems become.I don`t think the voices will stop until the mother learns to except that she is not lucky and she will never be rich.The voices grew louder because no matter how much money the mother got she always wanted more. She was never satisfied.
