    I think Liza has the end of "The Onset" right: no matter that "the snow may heap/ . . . four feet deep," it can still never stop the [spring] "peeper's silver croak;" and we "shall see the snow all go down hill" in April. and "Nothing will be left white but here a birch,/ And there a clump of houses with a church."
